Cannon College is a self directed, motivated learning collective. Here we choose what subjects we like to study and research by creating course outlines for learning. We share ideas and learning techniques freely and there are no prerequisites for learning. Our hope is to produce a broad education for free or next to free by pooling resources and ideas. On this webpage we will post course outlines as well as weekly updates, reports or essays on our subjects.
Through a wealth of internet resource literature pages and books, thousands of books\cds\dvds at your local library on given subjects, community workshops and lectures we can all obtain a 'degree' of education that gives us the knowledge that we would have gone to a traditional school for. One can set their own schedule, but caution is advised that to keep motivated one should keep accountable with one's peers. This web site hopes to accomplish just that. A network of learners\students, teachers and supporters promoting free education.
